Turkana Spoon | No.2 | Kenya
These hand-carved spoons from the Turkana people of Kenya and part of our special collection which took 8 years to curate. They were traditionally used as a winnowing spoon, which is the process of fanning air in-between pieces of grain so that wind can blow away the husks. The repetitive nature of this process has created smooth surfaces and beautiful patina.
This collection of vintage spoons have been gently restored to original authenticity, will vary slightly due the natural nature of the product.
They work perfectly as a decorative piece anywhere in the home.
