Tonga Stool

These stools were designed by the Tonga people of Zimbabwe as a portable seat that villagers could take with them when attending neighbouring village ceremonies. Each stool had its own unique design.

This vintage Tonga stool is one of our favourites. We love its simplistic but statement shape and beautiful patina of the wood from years of use.
