r.w. 02
Inspired by our partner, Care for Wild, our R.W. collection honours baby rhinos rescued from poaching. The rhino wrapped in a blanket symbolises the ultimate vulnerability of these calves, and the comfort given to ease their trauma. Through a dedicated rehabilitation program, these orphans receive the roots to heal and the wings to be successfully re-introduced into the wild—where rewilded survivors are now raising the next generation.
Designed by Khayni and brought to life by George Lamiè—an Egyptian artist who runs his private studio, Maison Lamiè—each piece bridges the worlds of art and conservation.
Each ceramic piece is meticulously hand-crafted from natural clays and plasters. The rhinos are drawn entirely by hand, and a manual ageing process is applied to give every piece a unique character, embracing forms that feel both ancient and immediate.
