DESCRIPTION
These unique trays are hand-carved from a single piece of wood from the Sholla' tree by the Kaffa people of Ethiopia. Enjera, a thick pancake made from ground grain called tef is one of the staple foods in Ethiopia and is always served on this round trays.
The trays are decorated with a geometric designs and hold deep meaning. These trays are given as gifts from a husband to his wife and they are used with pride. This vintage tray is perfect as a decorative piece or as a rustic catchall tray for anywhere in the home.
