Bone Beads | Batik | Kenya
All across Africa, carving beads from recycled cow bone is centuries old, traditionally used as a currency to trade for foods and metals. The tradition of making the beads still continues today. These beads are carved and shaped by skilled craftsmen from Kenya. Once shaped the beads then go through a wax resit batik process to create the designs.
All bone beads come with a stand. Style on the stand, or remove and layer.
