Our Twiga cap is named after the Swahili word for giraffe, celebrating one of the wild's most graceful animals. The Big Life Foundation protects roughly 7,000 giraffes—approximately 5% of the total African population—across 1.6 million acres in the Greater Amboseli ecosystem. Through anti-poaching initiatives, dedicated ranger patrols, and deep community collaboration, they have successfully doubled the local giraffe population in just 10 years, actively combating severe threats like habitat loss and the illegal bushmeat trade.
