Our Herd cap has embroidery of a family of elephants. Elephants share some of the strongest family bonds in the animal world, living in highly bonded and cohesive groups, led by a matriarch.

Research by Save the Elephants has contributed to more than 120 peer-reviewed scientific papers and have deepened global understanding of elephant intelligence and social behaviour. For example, elephants share striking similarities with humans; they have complex brains, strong family bonds and even engage in rituals to mourn their dead and celebrate new life. All of which, shows how important the health of the herd is to their survival, safety and security.
