Tutsi bangles are hand-carved from indigenous wood and designed with copper or sliver inlays. The bangles were traditionally worn during hunts by the Tutsi people of Rwanda to protect their wrists from bruising from the recoil of bowstrings.
Each bangle is one-of-a-kind with no two being the same. They style perfectly in any space as a decorative piece and work beautifully in pairs.
