Tonga Drum No.1

DESCRIPTION
This drum originates from the Tonga people of Zimbabwe, it has been hand-carved from indigenous wood and finished with a natural leather hide. The drum has a beautiful patina and wear from years of use. 

Drums have a rich history in African culture and are used in many ceremonial functions such as dances, rituals, storytelling and communication of messages between peoples, villages and the spiritual world.
