Zulu platters are hand-carved from indigenous woods and continue to play an important role in Zulu culture. The style and design of platters vary from one region to another but they are all used to serve meat on during meal times, the larger the platter the more significant the occasion.  

This tray has developed a rich patina from years of use and has natural imperfections. Style as a decorative piece or as a soulful catchall tray for anywhere in the home.
