DESCRIPTION
This Nupe stool is a special vintage piece curated the Nupe people who live alongside the Niger river in Nigeria. The stool would have been used as a prestige item used only for market days or during important meetings.

The stool has been hand-carved by a community member from a solid piece of indigenous wood, with its own unique design making it a one-of-a-kind piece for your home. As a vintage piece, the stool whilst lovingly restored to its original authenticity, has been exposed to elements and has perfect imperfections as a result. 

Nupe stools work perfectly styled as a low side table or as a sculptural decorative stool for anywhere in the home.
