DESCRIPTION
Our collection of Fancy currency comes from the Mumuye people of Nigeria or Northern Cameroon. Like all currency, these pieces were created for a payment method with the design being determined by the resources available to the community at the time of making. Whilst primarily used as a method of payment some currency were used for status and adornment instead.
We love this unusual twist design and is perfect as a sculptural decorative piece anywhere in the home.
