DESCRIPTION
The baskets are a beautiful reflection of ancient weaving tradition, made by the Buhera women of Zimbabwe. These baskets were traditionally used for storing mealie meal and beer, to make them waterproof, cow dung would be smeared on the outside of the baskets.
Woven by hand, the Buhera basket is the perfect accent for any space. This large woven basket is perfect for styling as a decorative sculptural piece anywhere in the home.
