Turkana Bangle
DESCRIPTION
These unique bangles are part of an incredibly special collection of pieces which took 8 years to curate. The bangles were traditionally worn on the wrist or held by hand and most commonly used to skin hides after a successful hunt, as well as during any battles. The bangle has been handmade using iron and leather. The leather is placed on the inside and outside for protection for the wearer and whilst not in use.
Due to being handmade each piece will vary slightly. Style as a sculptural piece anywhere in the home.
Whilst the piece in no longer functional, we recommend special care is taken when handling.
