DESCRIPTION
Our Hehe stools have been hand-carved from a single piece of hard wood by the Hehe people who live along the shores of Lake Nyasa in Tanzania. The low design of the stool suggests that the stool was made for practical purposes, such as milking cattle rather than ceremonial purposes.

As each stool is carved by hand, they are all individual with their own slight variations   making it a one-of-a-kind piece for your home. Our Hehe stools are perfect as functional side table or decorative sculptural stool for anywhere in the home.
